The Mulberry café is known locally for its large portions and delicious coffee. I had the Smashed Hash and Eggs, which consists of their crispy grilled corned beef hash served with 3 large eggs (cooked to order) with potatoes and choice of toast or grits! I added a side order of crispy bacon! In the picture, half of the food is hidden by their HUGE cat’s head biscuit! The food was delicious! My daughter had the 4 Egg Omelet which comes with your choice of hash browns, home fries or grits and toast. You also get to choose up to 3 fillings with the choices being bacon, sausage, ham chicken, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms roasted red pepper/onion blend or green chilis. And, if that weren’t enough, you get your choice of American, cheddar/Monterey Jack blend, Swiss, provolone or pepper jack cheese! (I told you that their portions were large!) The food served hot and our server, Beth, was friendly and cheerful! If you are in south Lakeland or Mulberry, you owe it to yourself to check out this lovely little café!
