The store manager repeatedly approached us while we were shopping, aggressively pushing low-quality knife sharpeners and other unsellable inventory, behaving more like a pushy used car salesman than a professional retailer. To make matters worse, he openly encouraged these predatory tactics to a staff member right in front of us. The staff lacked integrity, offering dishonest advice just to make a sale.
As a veteran, I found it especially disappointing to be treated this way in a supposedly veteran-friendly store and town. My wife later mentioned the manager inappropriately touched her arm during one of his approaches, which was the final straw. We returned all merchandise and will never shop here again.
Prices are outrageously marked up, and the experience isn’t worth it. Save yourself the trouble and shop at more reputable stores like Harbor Freight, Tractor Supply, or any other big-box retailer in a neighboring town. Don’t waste your money here.
