We love the concept of a cafe-style restaurant that allows you to design your own pizza and salads. There are a few sauce choices (I'm a fan of the pesto sauce), and several meat, vegetable, and herb options. And if those present too many options, you can choose from a list of popular pizza combinations.
The prices are set for each pizza size -- mini, a mod (regular), and extra dough. After that, you can put add whatever toppings you want. This works great for someone like me, who likes grilled chicken, basil, garlic, pesto, peppers, etc. on my pizza, but if you like a plain cheese pizza, you might feel like you are not getting a good deal. Either way, the pizzas are big enough to share. MOD pizza even has extra plates set out.
The crust was close enough to NY style for me to really enjoy, and after ordering, we had the pizzas at our table in about 10 minutes (the one with extra dough took a little longer).
