Mint Indian Bistro

I attended an event in a private room for 50+ people yesterday (room can hold 80), had the lunch buffet. and it was fantastic. The food, the service and atmosphere were all great. I had the chicken Tikka masala, goat curry, chicken tandoori, chicken chili, masala rice, garlic naan and a dosa. There were a lot of vegetarian food as well. My son had 4 plates of food, he loved it so much. Kids also love the self serve soft ice cream (vanilla and pineapple flavors). The staff was very attentive and friendly, cleared our used dishes quickly and walked around attending to all our needs.

I think most people can probably specify one or two food genres that they can eat the majority of the time without getting tired of it - for me, Indian cuisine seems to be one of those go-to choices lately. I wanted to try a new Indian restaurant on 28 Feb 2025, so my wife and I did a search online and opted for Mint Indian Bistro. We made a reservation but realized that we didn't need it when we arrived because there was ample seating in the restaurant - though it's still good practice to make reservations in Las Vegas. I quickly noticed how modern the décor was which added to the pleasant experience. The dining area was of significant size and didn't feel as though the tables were placed too close to each other. This restaurant seemed to be very popular for to-go options because I kept seeing customers/delivery drivers constantly go in and out of the facility which is a good sign for this business. We ordered the Flying Horse beer and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc for our drinks; Samosa Chaat with Yogurt, Papdi Chaat, and Famous Chicken Tandoori for our appetizers; Andhra Chicken Curry, Andhra Lamb Curry, and Chili Garlic Naan without butter for our main and side entrées. First and foremost, I don't know if the Chicken Tandoori is actually famous or not (based on their claim), but I assure you that it is the best Chicken Tandoori I've ever experienced of all the Indian restaurants I've been to. Both "Chaat" dishes were good, but the Samosa Chaat with Yogurt was better out of the two. I think it's due to the fact that the Papdi Chaat was served intentionally cold - I was expecting it to be a warm/hot dish. Regardless, the flavors for both dishes were remarkable. Both Andhra Curry dishes were cooked to perfection; the meats were tender and the flavors were exquisite. I was a little bummed that those entrées weren't served in those traditional dishes you see at other Indian restaurants, but that didn't ruin my evening either. Plus, the dishes match the modern feel of this restaurant, so all is good. The Naan was wonderful; I appreciated this restaurant for customizing it for us because it is normally served with butter on the Naan, but I was "trying" to be a little health conscious. Their heat scale is a little different; they use the 1-5 heat scale index, versus the 1-10 at other businesses. Although not a showstopper, I wanted to let people know that for expectation management. Their food seemed to be served a little more spicier than others...even at spice level 2. And yes, that's coming from a person with a decent spice tolerance. I guess this is expected considering they advertise an "Inferno Menu." The service was magnificent. We experienced a combined effort between Raju and Durga, which both were highly attentive, professional, and operated very efficiently. Although Raju seemed to be our primary server, I didn't want to exclude any supporting staff members that made the evening nice. Also, not to be left off this list, Yusimi was very friendly and extremely helpful in removing our old dishes from the table. I've been to restaurants before where the folks cleaning weren't as personable which could negatively affect the experience, but this was not the case with her. Additionally, I don't want to discredit the folks working in the kitchen because the food was marvelous...but I only caught the names we were exposed to while dining here. Needless to say, Raju, Durga, and Yusimi were a perfect trio to the front end operations. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable. I did notice the prices being slightly higher than other Indian restaurants but considering the restaurant's nice décor and ambiance, coupled with their food and service, it definitely hits the mark. I especially respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I had a great time here and only wish this restaurant was closer to the far Northwest part of the city. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Came here at around 11:30 am today and the food was nice and hot. Hostess was polite and sat me quickly, she took my naan order immediately and the food was a little different today. The mixed rice had cranberries in it I guess to go with the holiday spirit was tasty, the had a new chicken dish out today which was real good. The goat curry was on point as always, and the garlic butter naan was very delicious

The food was good, we enjoyed everything we ordered. The Dosa is so good, it's a little expensive, but it is worth trying. The beer was very good too. The service was good and the food came out in good time. This restaurant definitely will be place to go if we want Indian food. The only complaint was that they don't open until 5 pm, and we are early dinner people. It's many times we want to go there when we are hungry at 4 pm, but we can't.

I have been to Mint Indian Bistro once several years ago. It was a good experience. I just had not returned. I happened to close, perfect time to revisit. The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. About mid meal, the cook brought fresh garlic naan to the table. The huge well-marked vegetarian meals were outstanding. We will be back soon!

Extraordinary from last one month, we are from Tour. We just request him regarding Indian tea and without hesitation, he is ready to shout Indian tea to all nice. Thank you and food is extraordinary. Mukesh was amazing. We feel like we are in India. He make us feel like home .

The nice open atmosphere of Mint Indian Bistro on Durango is always great after being in the hustle and bustle of things during the holiday season. Their lunch buffet is great, as it has always been, as one of the most consistent of all their locations. The service is friendly and attentive and the pineapple Dole Whip for dessert never hurts. 😁

On our most recent trip to Vegas, after dining in and around the strip, we were desperate for great Indian food. Mint came highly recommended on Reddit…and those reviews were pretty accurate. The lunch buffet was amazing! Delicious flavors, good variety and all tasted fresh and authentic. Would definitely recommend it to everyone!

This lunch buffet is $18.99!!! The place is clean and the foods are divided into vegetarian section and non vegetarian section. Raju took care of the table and the service was fantastic. This time we brought our friends for lunch buffet. The chutneys and other sides are the best! We really enjoyed it.

We visited Mint Indian Bistro during our trip to Vegas and absolutely loved the experience! The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and with so much variety to choose from. Every dish tasted amazing. The staff was incredibly courteous and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic and delicious Indian food in Vegas!

Love this place for lunch! The food, the quality, and the naan, hard to beat, especially considering this is a lunch buffet. Top tier quality for a buffet. I’ve ordered from here at dinner and the food is even better, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, but the standard is clearly up there :)
