Maybe I’m stubborn but Mikata has always delivered such good food with great service that I’ve never really ventured anywhere else to get Japanese food. For me, it’s the best sushi I’ve ever had. Tastes extremely fresh and well prepared. Decent prices and nice atmosphere.

In Auburn for the weekend & my cousin took me here. The food was great! The chef was friendly and cooked everyone’s food how they wanted it! You also get big portions of the food they are not stingy!

WOW!!! We've eaten at several Hibachi restaurants over the years. It's worth the short drive from Smith Station for the quality and atmosphere. Mikata has put together a team of the TOP chefs in the area.

Hands down the BEST Habachi Restaurant I’ve ever been to. I literally ate every bite. The rice is delicious, right amount of teriyaki sauce, chicken is cooked perfectly and the portion sizes are big enough for two. I HIGHLY recommend them.
