McMashers Sports Bar & Grill in Casa Grande

3rd time here was a nice redemption.. good service and food.. burgers actually cooked medium, fries were good and potato salad needed salt and pepper but was good too!... 2nd time here and omg the server was sooo terrible at best.. she took our order of a byo burger and salad and my wife ordered a wrap with fried chicken instead of grilled chicken and after we waited for a long time i asked another server am i getting my salad, she said we have a shortage in the cooks so ur server is not at fault and when our server came back and i questioned her what our order was she said a french dip and onion rings.... I asked why didn't you ask what I wanted my burger cooked to and she said it's medium well unless you ask different.. at that point we decided to leave and maybe we will come back in 6 months and see if the service is better.. First time there and omg so many tv's everywhere.. Homer Simpsons dream bar lol.. had the McMashers Philly n fries and wife had the melt.. both were great.. very tasty and seasoned proper.. the beer was tall and iced cold! We will be back!

If I could give them a negative 100 I would. I have never been treated so poorly in my life! I was on a conference business call and was just looking for a place to eat during the phone meeting. I walked in and instantly I got looked at weird but I really didn’t think anything of it because I’m used to getting stares due to looking a bit eccentric. I seated myself. Which is typical of a sports bar. It was my first time (and last time) here. Nonetheless, the waitress took about 15 min or so to come to my table. The waitresses even addressed new patrons before coming to my table. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. When she arrived I asked her about the menu as it was my first time here and she acted like she wasn’t sure about it and didn’t even know what was on the happy hour menu, I thought maybe she was new. I asked for a sec to go over the menu and she gave me close to 30 minutes to do so… yeah… again… they are a bit busy so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I finally ordered a burger and fries. I want to try the onion rings after putting in the order for the Burger and l fries and kept flagging down the waitress and they kept ignoring me and walking past me. I finally got the attention of what I know now is the manager, and she seemed annoyed to even have to interact with me. I asked her if she knew more of the happy hour menu of what she said she did and I asked her where the onion rings on happy hour because I wanted to try them. She said she wasn’t sure and she’ll go check. She came back maybe five minutes later and said “yeah they’re $.50 off and I put the order in” and abruptly and swiftly walked away. At this point I was feeling very uncomfortable, I flagged the waitress down again after waiting for a long time and asked if they could put my food in a to go container just for convenience but I was not about to leave as I was still on my call. (Still haven’t got my food yet) The waitresses bought me the onion rings and THE BILL 👀 and sat it down and stood there as if I wasn’t going to pay and run off 👀. I kinda got the hint, so I just paid (mind you I have still not got my main order.) While I was collecting the money to pay, I asked her if I could have more ranch because they give you one small cup of ranch, with a full basket of onion rings, She then said as I handed her the $25 “ Yeah this isn’t enough money, the ranch is 50 cents more” so I responded oh, you have to pay for extra ranch, I didn’t know and she said “yeah we make it fresh and we have to pay for it so do you.” Let’s be clear I’m still on a business call so my colleagues hear the way they’re treating me and even they got offended and told me that I should speak with the manager. I tried to explain to her how poor the service is and she instantly now verbally stereotyped me and said that I have an attitude, but this is the kicker the original waitress Ryan, walks up while I’m talking to the manager and tells me she’s not giving me any money off my bill as if I was looking for a discount, not knowing that I have already paid in full 👀. At that point, I was very upset and let them know that I didn’t appreciate being racially profiled, stereotyped and treated poorly. The only thing they saw was that I was a A person of color. They never interacted with me to even make that unwarranted assumption of me. if someone whom has never spoke to you and just looks at you and assumes the worst it’s per your outer opinion. Not to mention the onion rings were raw on the inside… At that point, I have Never been more embarrassed in my life.

Really good food, we didn't drink but they had a great list. Waistress may have been new, couldn't suggest anything, not terribly personable but it was busy. There's a LOT of TVs all going at once which if you're sensitive to, might be distracting or give you a headache. Great for sports fans, but we were there for the food. Next time we'll sit outside. Definitely will go again!

Good place to catch part of the game if you are out. Food is affordable. Service was not the best, but about as good as you get anywhere else. It's exactly what someone should expect from a sports bar and grill. I would recommend it if you are already out and want to catch part of a game, probably wouldn't leave the house to watch a game here

So far it is 5 star all the way!!!We have been here twice and both times food and service were fantastic.This place has a ton of tvs and will change the channel on one near you if you request it. Very friendly waitresses and Bartender. Cheaper than fast food and 10 times better. Keep up the great work!

Googled Brew Pub near us on our way from Tucson to Yuma. Took us only a little off track but totally worth it. Great little bar with great food and service. Had a Philly cheese steak and upgraded to salad instead of fries for $2 and my husband and I ate for under $25. He had 2 buds, I drank water since I was driving.The bartender was very personable and the wait staff was great.We were greeted when we stepped in which doesn't always happen.We will stop by again as my sister lives in Tucson and we have a place in Yuma!

Best burger I've ever had in my 74 years. A nice "char" on the outside and juicy inside with a well toasted bun. My words cannot describe the taste. I had cheddar cheese but no lettuce and tomato, just a really good hamburger. Fries were very good and same with the coleslaw.Our waitress was excellent. Very excellent. Would go well out of my way to eat there again.

I had the BYO burger and it was by far one of the best burgers I've had. Juicy and flavorful, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The coleslaw was also great. Crunchy enough without too much dressing and just a touch of sweetness. Enormous water glass = no need to refill. Take the volume down a little on the music for better conversation and atmosphere could be 5 star. Definitely will return.

Visiting from Texas, Went to meet with friends.Asked for adjustment to menu items…No problem!Food was great.Met my friends there the next day, but already had dinner so decided on desert.Chocolate Cake was on the menu…Ice cream was not.Again, No Problem.The owner popped out and brought ice cream to go with my cake.Can’t say enough about going out of your way to serve your customers.I would give 6 stars if I could.

I liked the appetizer that I had. While most of the staff was very nice, I felt like the bartender (I sat at the bar & not a table) would have been more attentive if I had been one of the regulars.When I was waiting to pay my bill, I sat with my credit card in view for at least 10 minutes, while she walked by me 3 or 4 times to talk to what I could tell were regulars.I don't know if I would have had better service at a table where I would have had an "assigned" waitress, but honestly, good service shouldn't be determined by where you sit.Parking: This is in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking.

The first time I went to McMashers, I was beyond surprised at how flavorful the food was. Granted, my son and I ordered the appetizer chips and salsa and a pair of burgers. However, the chips overflowed the basket, and the salsa was tasty. The burgers and fries, however, stole the show. In fact, they were far better than a sports bar in a strip mall had any right to serve. They were thick, jucy, and I swear they were char grilled! But I held off writing a review until I went again.That was today, and the experience was just as fantastic. This time, it was my wife and I, and we ordered wings, I had another burger, and she had the chicken sandwich. The wings were outstanding and struck a perfect balance of heat and flavor. My wife's chicken sandwich was well-cooked, moist, tasty, and huge! My burger, again, was better than expected.It was busy both times, but the wait staff is on top of their game! They were attentive and friendly.I honestly have nothing bad to say about either experience, and I would highly recommend McMashers to anyone. In fact, I not only look forward to going back but to taking friends and family there, too!

Lots of BIG screen tv's for Sports and pretty waitresses 😊 This is a good bar to enjoy Football rivalries. Lots of loud and cheerful fans faithful to their Favorite Teams !Wheelchair accessibility: There are no obstructions to wheel chairs entering.Just open the door and roll in .

First visit and had no expectations. It was Friday evening and quite busy, but weer were able to grab one of the last two tables without a wait. First impression was surprise at the number of TVs mounted on the walls and even in each individual booth! Despite being busy, service was excellent. Our waitress stopped by our table within 30 seconds to advise she helping other tables at that moment but would return shortly. A simple courtesy, but much appreciated and she did return with menus and took our drink order within 5 minutes. Menu is pretty standard sports bar fare and I opted for the BLT and my wife chose just an appetizer of potato skins. Both were better than typical sports bar offerings. We will return. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the food was very good, but not phenomenal.

Went for the first time today during a busy Saturday lunch rush. We seated ourselves and had great service, no complaints there at all. They brought us our food in an average wait time, again no complaints there. I got the western melt? Or Patty? Can't remember what it's called exactly, but it was labeled a fan favorite and hubby got a custom burger, both with fries and the chicken platter for the kids. I liked the seasoned fries and ranch. However, I didn't think either one of our meals was noteworthy. Just very average 🤷‍♀️. Husband had the same comment. Decent but not memorable. Not sure how likely we are to go back and we weren't that impressed with the taste.

My wife and I have eaten here, many times, over the last couple of years. It was one of our favorite places to have lunch when we would “go to town”. It was always a pleasant experience with good food and decent service. Sadly, today was our last visit.They were busier than normal but not too bad. We took a seat at one of the booths. It only took about 5 minutes to order drinks and when they were brought, the server said she would be right back. 30 minutes later she came and asked if we were ready to order. I said yes and mentioned that people that came in after us were already eating and instead of apologizing or talking about how busy they were, instead, she got pretty rude. She sent the other server over to check on us after that.Management should have provided more staff for the busy day but there was absolutely no reason for the server to be rude. She actually looked at us and said, well, what do you want to do?! We almost, and probably should have paid for our drinks and walked out right then. If she can’t handle a little pressure she should look for a new line of work.Fortunately, there are plenty of other places in town to get a good meal.

The cheese curds, it seemed like they were scooped out of hgd fryer with spoon. The basket liner was soaked with oil. The burgers were ok just took forever and onion rings were borderline burnt. Saving grace was our server, she looked to be doing ghe whole dining room solo and navaged to keep up and still have a pleasant disposition. Not sure if it was worth the time and money

Been going here since my family moved back in the 1990s great place. I know it's a new owner but she's worked there for years and knows what all the customers love and like. The food is great also the drinks a pretty great too. If you want something they don't have they will try to make it to the best of their knowledge and do a pretty good job too!

A very good first outing to McMashers. The food had a great price, and was quite good. We had well drinks, and they both were expertly made. The bar has many televisions, so you can find just about any game you want. Our server was very nice, and the order-to-delivery speed was appropriate for the number of customers they had. Our only complaint was that the restrooms were in need of a refresh, although nothing bad. We will go back again. Get the Patty Melt!

I used to love coming in here. But they have been slacking. Not only did the prices go up, the portion sizes have gone down. I counted 9 fries on my side of fries for my burger. Server came to our table a whopping one time throughout our whole visit. And whoever brought us out our food didn't ask if we needed anything, just placed the plates down and left.

Another nice surprise! The happy hour specials are for domestic beer and well drinks only. The craft beer selection is small but excellent.The food is very good. They keep the fry oil fresh so the fires are crisp and taste clean and crisp.Diane had the entire floor! Good thing she runs 6 miles every morning!

We waited over 1 hour and 15 mins before seeing our waitress recognize our food was missing. Didn't bother the waitress one time, not once. When she realized the food was missing, she told her manager. The manager came to our table, she aggressively dropped down the menu and told us to read it. She started to defend their lack of attentiveness to our table at all. Not once did we ask for a status on our food. Several tables were served before us and that was the only reason we started to notice the gap. I am an adamant supporter of of the food service industry and am very disappointed that this is how we were treated. Good luck bouncing back.

Service was great however food was not great. Ordered a crispy chicken salad and lettuce was wilty, no other veggies in it except onion, chicken was dry and over cooked, small portion size for the price. No bargains on drink costs either. Disappointed as I really wanted to like this place enough to go back. Might give them one more try. Perhaps we were there on an off night?

This place has great potential, however, the staff makes excuses why no one waits on you. They all just look at you, then when you go and ask for some service, the excuses flow. I thought she had you, and she thought I had you. Yet neither of them came over. No matter, I got my server and she was great.I ordered but, the blackened chicken was cold and dry for the southwest salad. Not only that the lettuce was old and wilted.I had to pick threw it to find any good stuff.But, my server was still great

Stopped by passing through the city middle of the day not busy still Waited 15 mins to get a glass of Budweiser seemed to be a lack of care on servers part order was wrong and the answer was oh well at least I didn’t charge you moreParking: Lots of parking in a shopping mall

3 stars because the food was good, even though it was cold. Bailey was our waitress and left much to be desired. Short on words, slow on service, and failed to follow up. It was clear the food had been sitting on the counter waiting to be served for some time and then was brought to us abruptly by another waitress who was clearly annoyed to be doing so. They were "out" of dishes by lunch and advertise an outdoor patio in the desert with only 3 umbrellas to block the sun. I wouldn't mind coming back for the food but would absolutely sit at the bar for better service.

I went in about 5:30 pm, which I thought was happy hour. When cashing out, I was charged FULL price, even though I came in before 6pm. I did politely question this and the bartender said I was too late by the bar clock which. Y my phone is about 15 minutes fast. I am a frequent customer and usually the place is great. I hope this visit was the exception.RegardsS.

Nice little place to grab a bite to eat. Friendly staff.7/12/19. We came back I had the Southwest burger wow it’s a very good burger. We had Brit as our server she was awesome. I’m thinking it’s one of the better spots to eat at in Casa Grande

Super good meal and service. Noticed quite a few tables not cleared off when we arrived. Unexpectedly busy for Dec 26 th may have caught them understaffed. None the less bartender didn't miss a beat and tended to our drinks and ordered food most hastily. Chicken sandwich is a thick juicy filet of breast meat and bug burgers cooked to your liking. Pricing is spot on and food cooked fresh and served up quick! Bam!
