My son has autism and has limited communication ability. He also has a food allergy to cheese. I try to be understanding because I have worked for McDonalds in the past myself. Here is the situation.
I am repeatedly given orders that are wrong. Sometimes we receive diet coke instead of regular coke. No biggie there. But usually we order a sandwich with "No Cheese" but when we receive the order it has a receipt on the sandwich box stating "No American Cheese", but the sandwich has cheese on it. Being a food allergy it is imperitve that the order be correct. So when we bring the sandwich back and Milaysia, store manager slams the sandwich on the counter and says under her breath, "I hate people like that", it becomes very offensive. I would hate causing a disabled child to become sick because I put cheese on his food.
It would also be different if it only happened one time, but this happens 95% of the time.
Another issue is that the sandwich that had the error on it was part of a meal. When one part of an entire meal has an error, it has a negative impact on the entire meal. In the future, when you ruin my kid's meal, you WILL replace the entire meal, no ifs ands or buts, no questions, no arguments. This is because a bad sandwich does in fact ruin the meal. Also, because gas isn't free either, so when you make this error it causes a financial burden on the customer that received the error. This is a burden you caused so you alone need to compensate for by replacing the entire meal with a smile on your face. Are we understood Ms Milaysia?
