I pulled into the drive thru this morning at 10:27, there was a long line, but the kids wanted breakfast here so I remained. The line moved slow, but I attributed it to driver error because multiple cars were leaving larger gaps than necessary. I ordered, I paid, I got to the pick up window around 11:00. Longer than I would have liked, but I was still patient.
Window attendant handed me half my drinks and asked me to pull forward to the sign to wait on my food and shakes. (Yes I got my kids shakes with their breakfast.) I'm officially annoyed at this point but I remain polite and pulled ahead.
5 minutes later my food comes out, but no shakes. I let the runner know I'm waiting on shakes and she says she'll be back with them.
At 11:17 in still waiting for my shakes. I shut off the car and go inside to get them. The store upgraded the medium to a large and sent me on my way.
50 minutes in a drive thru is outrageous. There were multiple opportunities to make this a normal drive thru experience, instead it had left me feeling irritated by the inefficiency that you were operating at today.
Everyone was nice, no one was rude, but y'all need to get your stuff together. I know it's a challenging time of day (breakfast-to-lunch) but don't forget about all your customers next time.
