Stopped in with my wife for a late lunch. Wasn't expecting much, during my travels in Florida, haven't found any Korean food to "write home" about.Matjoa was a most auspicious surprise. We ordered our staples, seafood pancake, soondobu jigae and kalbi.First the bonchon they served was fresh, really unique in flavor profiles from each other and delicious. The seafood pancake came out first, crispy and packed with seafood. The sauce wasn't any regular watered down ponzu with sesame oil, it was fresh, spicy and very well seasoned.Next was the soondobu jigae, soft tofu seafood soup. The egg was perfect and the soup had so much flavor, one of the best I've experienced stateside. The seafood in the soup was fresh and full size, not some nickel and dime frozen baby seafood pieces. The the kalbi came out, perfectly charred, caramelized deliciousness... Salty, sweet with the bonchon's pickle to cut the savory. This place is a gem in South Florida and if you like Korean food you can't get much better than this place. Guaranteed.
