I went in with my girlfriend and my dad today, and overall, it was mostly a good experience.
The facility and the service were excellent. Dining in an older "historical" house in Longmont is a great idea.
I was the only one drinking at the table, and I chose to get the winne cocktail. It is a whiskey cocktail, and exceeded my expectations. Very good 10/10.
Our table ordered the Burrata appetizer. It was an excellent appetizer. However, the portions seemed off. There was a very large amount of cheese and not enough kalamata olives, or those delicious tomatoes. 6/10
Before our entrees, my dad also got the beet salad. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Was mostly just greens and goat cheese. If a salad is called a beet salad, there should probably be a good amount of beets on there. 2/10
When the entrees came, they did not disappoint. I got the rack of lamb, my father got the 14Oz ribeye, and my girlfriend got the duck pasta. They were all superb.
The rack of lamb was a bit larger and cooked to perfection. The Gnocchi it was served on was absolutely delicious as well. I would definitely order this again. 10/10
The 14 Oz ribeye had a nice char on the outside and was cooked to a very nice medium rare. The red wine demi on the dish was fantastic, the broccolini was delicious, and the scrumptious mashed potatoes made it even better. 10/10
The duck pasta had a swell amount of shredded duck mixed with a good amount of pasta. It had a wonderful taste, and as my girlfriend said, "it was a great experience for a first time eating duck."
I would definitely return for those entrees, and could even see myself showing up for happy hour to drink one of those great cocktails. Thanks for the excellent food and service.
