The experience begins by being welcomed and seated by co -owner Billy D who runs the front of the house. Our waitress, Crystal, was amazing. Anything we wanted, she made sure we got it! She personally made me my quad-shot (decaf)espresso and it was SO good! I had her make me another to take with me when we left. On our second and third visits the co-owner, Chef Gio came out, one time actually serving our food. We were not unique, I saw him bring out other patron's food, too. Val, Amy, and I each had something different, and it was all fantastic, melting in your mouth. The presentation is beautiful, but what makes it so special is how absolutely delicious it is!
We spent two nights in the Destin-Miramar Beach area. We then went to a week long conference in Panama City Beach. Before flying back to Montana, we drove back to Mama's to have another meal there before flying out from Pensacola. We got there later and ate on the patio, enjoying the warm breezes. Orange slices, mimosas, eggs Benedict, spiced potatoes, crepes, french toast.. breakfast doesn't get any better than this! If we we get back to the Florida panhandle we will definitely be back to Mama's! 5 STARS!!!
