I never got the chance to buy anything else from there until very recently, which I was very excited to do. I called ahead of time to order some tamales. When someone came to pick them up the staff there acted like they didn't know anything about the order and they were extremely rude. That was Friday. Part of the tamale order was frozen, and today (Tuesday) I decided to warm them up to eat. Immediately, a HUGE amount of mold was all over the tamales. Luna's Tortillas said that they'd swap them out for some pork tamales, and when getting to the restaurant they were STILL rude. They did not even want to look at the tamales with the mold on them. There are probably a ton of tamales in their freezer right now with mold all over them. I waited years to eat food from this place, and will surely not do that again. From looking at some of these reviews it looks like management has an issue with disrespecting people, especially when it comes to people they think aren't latino and/or can't understand Spanish así que déjame ser clara con ustedes. No hay ninguna excusa para la falta de respeto que han mostrado el viernes pasado ni hoy. ¡Son unas sinvergüenzas! It doesn't matter if someone is Black, White, Asian or anything else, you should respect your patrons especially when they're being respectful towards you. If you're going to be a restaurant, serve things that are edible. It's the least you can do.
