We usually go for the loaded fries, my daughter loves it with honey bbq & ranch, but we recently decided to try their chicken wings since they were highly recommend, & supposedly #1 in Lockhart. We got the 10 piece, & had several choices of sauces to choose from, but wanted to keep it simple for our first try, so we chose honey bbq. It also came with 2 sides, so we chose the waffle fries & onion rings, & it came with a drink. I figured, having such a big order, I'd be getting a nice size drink, but it was a single can of soda, but hey, we aren't here to talk about the drink, so let's get straight to it! The meal looked appetizing, & when I took the first bite, I got so much sauce that overpowered everything... Don't get me wrong, I love sauce, but it seemed to try to balance out the slight dryness of the chicken wing, as I prefer my wing a little moist. I learned quickly to wipe off the access sauce to get more pleasing taste, & definitely know now, to order it with half the sauce if I plan to order them in the future. The waffle fries were ok, not crispy, but I think out of the whole order, the onion rings were the BEST part of my meal. Nice & crispy, one of my top choices by far in Lockhart. So, overall, since there isn't any other chicken wings to compare it to, I CAN'T say that these were ranked #1 of Lockhart, but in my opinion, I'll continue to make mine homemade. I'm not spending over $15 for 10 pieces of chicken wings, drenched in bbq sauce to try to compensate for the dryness of the wing, 2 sides, & a can of soda.
