Conveniently located in a strip mall near the Hard Rock Hotel, Liam's Steakhouse decorated the outside of their restaurant with nice, welcoming, white lights. It created a calming, date night, atmosphere which is desirable when dining out. The meat display near the kitchen (and open kitchen concept) adds a neat effect to the vibe. They also housed their menu on iPads, which I've never seen before and believe to be extremely convenient for any non-English speaking customers since you can easily customize the language of the menu. Our waitress was extremely kind and had playful humor before and during our meal, which was pleasant. The staff helped each other on servicing tables. Generally speaking, the service speed was not an issue given that we arrived at 6:15 PM and left by 7:30 PM (note: no appetizers or desserts). Liam’s give complimentary bread, olives, and pickles. We ordered a Cosmopolitan which was tasty - it was a bit sweet for my taste, and not as strong as I'd like, but great if that's your taste. We attempted to order a few other drinks (Miami Vice, Old Fashioned, and Jack + Coke) based on what the waitress said was available, but the bar had recently opened and was not fully stocked. The waitress was kind, however - she made it up to us by giving us a complimentary glass of red wine for the difficulty and miscommunication. To eat, we ordered the Dallas Grill medium (18 oz dry-aged ribeye), Hanger Steak medium rare (14 oz wet-aged), and the Pan Seared Russian Style Baby Potatoes. The ribeye was the best dry-aged steak I've had to date (not typically my go-to). The Hanger Steak was cooked to perfection and the tenderness was top notch. For both steaks I added salt and a chimichurri, but were still tasty on their own. The potatoes were okay, but also left a little to be desired in terms of flavor. You must note that 18% gratuity was automatic - an advance warning on this would be a good courtesy. But overall it was a great experience!
