I only give it one star because you have to give it that. The 1st time we came it was great! Service was good, food was good and price was reasonable . Another time we ordered in the drive thru and we were over charged $2 extra per torta and sopes because of meat when we chose a meat that was listed under that price. Either way you will not win with the staff here, you will blow a gasket trying to explain to them what their own menu says. That was my second visit. We decided to give it another chance today and I wish I would have kept on going down the road for food. The child’s carne guisada was cold and extremely thick and flour like, gross. $6.25 My daughter order the breaded shrimp and when it arrived there was an overwhelming smell of shrimp. Yes it was shrimp but properly cooked or kept shrimp DOESNT smell like that. My daughter didn’t even eat it. That plate was 13.99 an enchilada plate I think was $10 approximately. Small plate of rice and beans and 3drinks. I would have complained about our food if the waitress had come back after she dropped off the food. She just left. Didn’t say anything to us just left. After 30 mins and endlessly looking around for our waitress we caught the attention of the other girl who was there. At this point I thought I’m just gonna pay and we will NEVER eat here again. $49.78 for food that wasn’t eaten. We had to go up front because we never got the check. I was so disappointed in my whole experience and the fact that I was spending this much for a meal we didn’t even eat. I could have have had CHIPOTLE for a cheaper price and great fresh food. To make this experience even worse. UNAUTHORIZED gratuity was added. I wasn’t going to leave a tip for service and satisfaction I didn’t get. I put $0 for tip cause after all every dish was still on the table with food. No one came to check on us or ask us anything. I waited for the transaction to go thru because I get a notification but never came thru. Then at 10:24pm when it was closed out, IT WAS CLOSED OUT WITH A 20%GRATUITY. What??? I left nothing. A zero with a line through it. And signed my name. Tonight it closed out at $59.74 that is 20% of gratuity that was added by WHO? So now you add gratuity to a check that WAS NOT authorized by me?? Don’t eat here. You can find better. And if you insist on eating here and pay with card make sure to follow up with the amount they ran it for because its apparent they tip themselves with your money. If you examine the two images you see the amount of the check with 20%grat is the same amount that I was charged when they closed out the register tonight. I hope MY $9.96 cents is in my account in the morning. Thank for reading, good luck and guard your stomach from this place.
