Read MoreWe’ve been customers of Rosemary’s Hilltop Cafe since we moved to the area in 2017. When the restaurant closed a year ago, there was good reason, but we still had hope for a recovery. Since re-opening as Ledesma’s we have visited three times. The new owner shared his goals with us during one of our visits. Unfortunately, each time we’ve been back, the service has been below par. Yesterday, we left without eating because of the following: inattentive wait staff (on their phones 🤬), flies, dirty table, no food after 30 minutes. They asked us to wait another 10 minutes, but we declined. All the while, the staff was prepping the lunch buffet. They told us there was only one cook so it was backed up. This should be a clear indicator that they need another cook OR they could alert patrons of a long wait. This is sad, especially with so few dining choices in the area.
