If I could give zero stars I would. We had the most horrible experience last night at this restaurant. We were seated outdoors, which we didn’t mind at all considering it’s pretty compact indoors and we had kids with us. We got there at 7:30pm and were seated fairly fast. We were hoping for an enjoyable experience as we thought it’d be a great spot to have a few drinks and have good eats. Boy were we wrong! We placed our order for a few drinks and they took forever to get to us. They did mention they only had 1 bartender. But it was ridiculous. We got our drinks and they tasted like syrup. For what they’re priced at, you’d think they’d be fabulous. Not at all! We still stuck around and ordered food giving them a chance to redeem themselves. We ordered tacos, quesadilla, carnitas, fajitas and Chile verde plates. The quesadilla came out first. 20 minutes later they told us they were out of carnitas. Then the fajitas came out and they were bland and overcooked, dry! At that point we were all frustrated and decided we’d just leave. We let our waitress know that we were not happy at all, she instantly apologized. She was having a bad night considering the table next to us walked off and didn’t pay their bill. We felt so bad for her! She explained that one of the plates was coming out but we had, had enough. It was 9:30pm and after 2 hours of waiting around, we decided to go elsewhere. She brought us our bill, and she did remove 1 drink, 1 water and the fajitas. We paid $111 for 6 empanadas, 1 margarita, 1 quesadilla plate, 4 mango shots, 2 palomas, chips and guacamole (more like an onion with guacamole) and 4 waters. Yes!! They charge for water. How do you charge people top shelf prices and serve syrup for drinks? Both food and drinks look beautiful when served, but once you have a taste, you’ll be sorely disappointed. They need to concentrate on bettering their drinks and food rather than on presentation. They get an A+ for presentation but not so much for flavor. Our waitress was great. She did what she could with what she had. Management needs to work out that kitchen and bar situation real quick before they lose all their business. I would definitely not be going back.
