Loved the Bahay Kubo ambiance - the real bamboo decor is very nice, also liked all the Philippine decor on the walls. Wanted to try all the Filipino empanadas so I got the 6 pack - the Kaldereta was my favorite. And of course, with my sweet tooth, I loved the mango cheesecake. Had the taro with taro wall boba, with lactose free milk (thanks for offering this as a free alternative!). They also do oat milk and almond milk for an additional fee. Not the cheapest boba drink around town but the actual boba was very very good quality - cooked just right and with the right texture and yummy taste. I hate it when the boba is hard on the inside and mushy on the outside - this was perfect boba! The two staff there were super friendly and helpful - the kiosk had messed up my order and they fixed it right away and said they’d look into the kiosk miscommunication. I would have loved to get their cute apparel (shirts, hoodies, crew necks, beanies, hats) but I’ll have to come back after my next paycheck :) glad Kuboba is thriving and doing well! Mabuhay!
