Read MoreI’ve been eating at Kona’s since the mid-1990s, and after all these years, one thing hasn’t changed—they make a great sandwich. The tuna is top-tier, the deli meats are always fresh, the bread is delicious, and even the soda fountain hits just right (they must keep that machine extra clean). My only gripe? They close way too early! Some of us like a sandwich for dinner, and unless I remember to grab one before they shut down on the weekend (and stash it in the fridge like a sandwich squirrel), I’m out of luck. If they stayed open later, they’d definitely get even more of my money. Longtime loyal fan—and still going strong.
