I'm a Chicagoan transplanted in the PNW - and up to now for the 3 years I've been here I have been completely disgusted with the food. Most of it is bland, overpriced, and overrated. No decent barbecue to be found. Until now....
One bite and my mouth almost exploded from the flavor and tenderness. This is REAL midwest barbecue. Walking in, I could smell actual smoke. Looking in the back, I actually saw smoke. Many other bbq places out here, there's no smell of smoke anywhere or not even a grill or smoker in sight. The ribs are fatty and just no real flavor.
These pork ribs are just right - They don't fall off the bone but are very tender. The flavor is awesome and so is the sauce. Even the bread at the bottom of the container tastes good....no gluten-free complaints here. You could always just throw the bread away if you don't like gluten....I'm just saying.
