I recently had the chance to visit the Kasra branch in Rice Village. The area was bustling, and finding parking was a bit of a challenge due to mostly paid roadside parking. Alternatively, we found free parking at the Rice Village garage, although it required a 3-4 minute walk.Once inside, we were impressed by the top-notch service and the warm and efficient staff. The interior was impeccably clean, and as a group of 21, we were seated in a private party area with lovely decorations and comfortable seating arrangements. We opted for 4 family platters to cater to our group. Typically recommended for 6 guests, the platter included a generous portion of beef and chicken alongside 6 plates of rice (cranberry, dill, and white). The portion sizes were quite substantial, making it challenging to finish even for 6 people. While the food was a bit pricier compared to the Westheimer branch, I found the chicken kebabs were not that flavorful here.In conclusion, Kasra in Rice Village is a great choice for anyone seeking authentic Persian cuisine. But if you're torn between the Rice Village and Westheimer branches, based on my personal experience, I would recommend trying the Westheimer location.
