I had Karnival foods booked on April 28th, 2024 for an event on August 10th, 2024 and this poor excuse of a company did NOT show up for one of the biggest events of my life (my wedding). In the beginning, Karnival foods was very communicative and eventually became worse and worse. We spoke the day before the wedding on August 9th, 2024 to be sure we were on track and everything was set, I was assured that he was set and ready to attend our event with his specific time. Just to be let down when the time had come.
Family members tried to call several times, I left several text messages and nothing! I even tried calling several days after the event to get some sort of explanation to why Karnival foods did not show up for this event. It is now August 20th, 2024 I have yet to hear anything back.
My recommendation to anyone considering booking Karnival Foods for an important event, please book with someone more reputable, maybe someone with more experience; who is organized and would never do this to their customers.
There are other black owned Businesses out there who are more organized and professional.

My hope to the other small businesses watching you is that they learn from your mistakes and not lie on costumers the way you’re doing to me. As an educator I teach my students the value of using their voices and stand up for what is right.
I was told I could pay upon arrival ($500 cash for 50 funnel cakes) and was even assured Karnival Foods would be there for one of the biggest events in my life.
Unfortunately, this was the start of many lies to come. If what you’re saying is true than why was I not made aware when the conversation was had the day prior and I could have made other arrangements. I should have never been assured that Karnival Foods was going to be at my event and should have never been told I “could pay upon arrival” if you knew you were not planning on showing up. Again, thank you for the congratulations on our wedding. We hope this experience helps you grow and learn to become a better business for future customers so that this may never happen to another on their special day.
