If you find yourself in Worthington and want a quick, delicious bite, Joya’s is a must-stop. I had heard rave reviews about their lattes and finally had a chance to check it out with my partner while we were in the neighborhood. We figured we’d grab a drink and a little snack—and I’m so glad we did.
Let me start with the latte: it’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect temperature, perfectly balanced sweetness, and just an overall comforting cup that lived up to the hype.
But the real star of the show was the Kati sandwich. I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised by a sandwich in my life. My photo didn’t come close to capturing its magic. It’s almost impossible to compare to anything else—it’s that unique. Imagine tender, perfectly cooked meat wrapped in an egg roll shell, all soaked in the most flavorful, out-of-this-world curry sauce. That might get you halfway there. We still talk about this sandwich constantly, and I seriously consider risking my arteries just to eat one every day.
The only downside to Joya’s is the space itself—it’s small, with very limited seating. Even when we visited at an off hour (around 2 p.m.), it was packed. So be prepared to wait or take your food to go.
Despite the tight space, Joya’s is absolutely worth the visit. It’s one of those rare spots that delivers something genuinely memorable.
