Pretty run down place, but most holes-in-the-walls are (which is why I rated 4 stars for the atmosphere).
But overall the food was hot, fresh and delicious. From the tamarind juice and freshly fried tortilla chips and guac, to the tacos and fajitas, everything was yummy and very much enjoyed.
My husband, an avid taco spot finder, said “you know it’s going to be good when they serve TOP NOTCH Agua de Tamarindo”!
I even enjoyed the salsa music playing in the background over the speakers.
And it was only 12 minutes from our hotel. Winner!
