We've stayed here twice now, once in April and once in November. In April we stayed in one of the larger suites and this time we were in a king room, both were amazingly decorated and comfortable, and of course playing the records adds that extra aura to the stay. This is not some soulless chain hotel, it is clear that every single little detail had love and passion put into it.
The pools are obviously great to soak in, with the echo room being our favorite.
Another standout here is the food. It is beyond what we expected from a hotel restaurant. We've had many of the items on the menu, switching it up every meal, and everything is fantastic. My personal favorite was the sticky toffee bread pudding. My one tiny bit of feedback would be that I'd like to see a few more cocktail options, and ideally ones that are unique (not just a twist on a classic like a mule, margarita, etc) but even still, the drinks we've had are good. On top of that, all of the staff have been friendly and helpful, especially at the restaurant and bar
