Clams linguini "Pasta was hard , sauce watery - clams were diced - definitely out of can (???)we believe sauce used was water from a can that clams came from , I believe that instead of olive oil, they use Canola oil ( I am still repeating that flavor)! No fresh garlic flavor was present in anything, so if they use garlic at all , it's got to be the powdered one. The cesar salad was a huge disappointment. Their version of Cesar dressing is some kind of tasteless milki watery substance on cesar lettuce, definitely NOT a cesar dressing, no grated cheese on salad either , and no taste ( forget about anchovies, I doubt they ever heard of it ). Veal Picante was over flavored with capers , sauce was sour watery, most likely water out of capers . Calamari was hard & tasteless.It's not a lightly breaded version that you expect in Italian restaurant. It was overcooked, that breading on calamari was very thick, crunchy & hard .
I kept hoping during appetizers that the next course will be better , but unfortunately, that never happened . After we had requested tipping oil for the bread, I was served with Canola oil in a bowl. There really was no hope that there was anything that they couldn't cook properly. We didn't attempt to order and try any dessert after main courses. Everything was so disappointing - there was no point to !
Girl who served us was very attentive & nice, not to make her feel bad we took our dinner in boxes to go , to threw it out to garbage can once we were out of sight, didn't want to upset her !
It was our first & definitely will be last time to try that restaurant. Hugest disappointment!!!
