My grandma was a waitress, so was my mother, and so was I. So my hubby and I NEVER tip 20+ % out of obligation or pity. We do always tip, 10% for meh service, 15% for good service and hubby rounded up the 20% for Becca. If we weren't on a tight retirement budget, I woulda asked hubby to tip even more. She was that "PERFECT!" Becca's service was technically perfect, and her soft skills were amazing! She has young, sunshiny, optimistic energy, and a professional, warm, wonderful attitude. If I could give 10 outta 5 stars for service I would. And, on top of all that, every time we said something she answered with the sweetest, sunshiniest "perfect." I told her how awesome it was to have a young person say "perfect" every time we said something about order, drinks, special requests, etc. She said "thanks but I feel like I over use it." I told her, "not to our age range you don't. It's rare to hear a young person say "perfect" to anything our age range says. I'm not kidding." We got a heartfelt awe from her; such a sweet, gentle, energetic soul/person. We know most young people think of us as "Okay Boomer" but Becca gave us 'y'all are BOOM BABY' energy and respect! I'm not kidding that this location is now our favorite Islands and we'll be calling ahead next time to make sure Becca's working, or wait for her next shift to go!
Everyone else was also smiling, nice, professional, pleasant, and respectful but Becca is over the top or whatever slang young people are using now for AMAZING! She should be training wait staff there. Becca thought of every tiny little thing that makes service exceptional. I heard her give her other tables the same over the top awesome service and care.
And the food and drinks were excellent, as always. Cheers to the kitchen staff also. Hubby read this before I posted and 100% agreed with this review. With actual words not just a nod so I know he really thinks so also. 😉
