Friday lunch before the Christmas holiday! We shower right at opening and we're promptly greeted although they were still doing some prep work. We were seated by our hostess, she was friendly and informed us that our server will be Maddie. Maddie greeted us with a smile and took our drink orders, I ordered a hazy IPA and my coworker a Dr Pepper. Once she brought our drinks, she also brought water for me, which was something I had meant to order but forgot, she must read minds. Awesome job on that. The burgers were true to a burger, not some pre-formed frozen patty. I tried the Longboard but added bacon. It comes with 1000 island dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles on a toasted white bun (option of a wheat bun) comes with a side of french fries. The French fries seem to be fresh cut since they had the skins on em still, they were crisp and fresh, but not sure if they were. Offerings include some Mexican food, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. They also have different drink offerings such as soda, beer, mixed drinks and shakes. Sadly there are not many Island Burgers near me as they have closed down during the pandemic. I would say one of the perks of my job is I visit different areas throughout southern California and love venturing to find eateries such as this place. Will definitely be coming back as I will be working in the area for a bit longer. Thanks for a bit of nostalgia since it's been so long since I visited an Island restaurant. Wheelchair access and accommodations. There are a few outdoor seats as well.
