Read MoreIt's been a handful of years since I've been to Isabella's. Anytime I've tried to go back it was busy and/or closed. Even hard to get a word in about a possible togo on the phone. So last night we, my boyfriend and niece and I, decided to give it a go. For a Monday night at 6pm it was was nice and the restaurant wasn't too busy. We were seated immediately and our server was there to grab our drink order just a few minutes later. My niece ordered a steak burrito with a side of steak fries (not pictured) and looked amazing. My boyfriend ordered a carnitas plate filled with a ton of delicious carnitas rice, refried beans with some pico and pickled carrots. I had Pechuga a la Plancha with cheese and Salsa Verde. Which is grilled chicken smothered with Salsa Verde and cheese, accompanied with rice and beans. Both plates came with the choice of tortillas and we both chose the homemade corn tortillas. And may I just say everyone was scrumptious. All of the plates were to the rim with food and hot and ready. We washed it down with a couple of Pacifico beers and it all hit the spot for the end of our night. We'll be back again sooner than later!!
