They offer some great cocktails and wine, appetizers, pizza (w/cauliflower crusts), salads, and entrees. The Psycho Shroom pizza is my favorite, as well as the baked goat cheese "shared" plate (that I don't like to share).
During both visits, the owner came out and chatted with our party for at least 10 minutes. Very nice guy.
We've learned in our first 2 seasons at Chautauqua that you go there for the experience, the atmosphere, the education, the social element, the history, the porches, the natural beauty. You don't go there for the food. But if you're looking for a nice place to go for dinner, then add the Intermezzo to your list.
