Ordered breakfast online. Live .2 miles away and came a few minutes after the ready time. The host asked for someone to check if my order was ready. 15 minutes later no one came to tell me anything. Asked the host when it was going to be ready and I was told “I don’t know you’ll have to ask a waitress.” 5 minutes later asked a waitress at the register, she was dismissive and never came back to tell me anything.This was the same waitress the host initially asked to check on my order when I first arrived. 10 minutes later the manager was at the register. She didn’t even let me finish complaining and kept telling me it was ready. The manager came back with my food while I was telling a different waitress what was going on. I asked if the food was cold and the manager said it wasn’t cold…it sure the hell was. This made it quite obvious that my food was ready on time and no one could be bothered. So it just sat there for almost 30 minutes getting cold and old.
The manager also scolded the host for telling me he didn’t know, in front of all the customers. Should have been a private conversation (or even quiet one) explaining what he should have said instead, what he said was annoying but didn’t deserve being told with a raised voice in front of customers. I hope he gets a better job where he’s treated and, more importantly, TAUGHT better. Not sure if the dismissive waitress was scolded or not but as a waitress she should have known and done better and there was no excuse for her treating me poorly. The ONLY person to apologize was the waitress I was telling what happened while she was ringing up a ticket. Things happen and a delay in getting my food isn’t a big deal BUT letting my food sit for 30 minutes getting cold was not acceptable. You also can’t expect staff to be pleasant when the manager is rude as well. I completely deserve a 100% refund for this nonsense but I’m so put off by what happened, the thought of calling to get one is just not worth it. So I will NEVER be back. Shame too because this is my disabled son’s favorite breakfast spot.
