Read MoreStopped here after visiting Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. The restaurant was highly recommended on Google and only 5 minutes away from the gardens. The atmosphere was very chill, the restaurant was clean, and we were greeted upon entry. I ordered the 2 piece meal which came with two pieces of chicken (I ordered a leg and thigh) and two choices of sides (I ordered mashed potatoes and collard greens). The food was fresh, the chicken was crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The mashed potatoes were delicious 😋. My only problem was the collard greens 😔; they were too sweet for my taste (I prefer my greens to be a little bitter)
If it weren't for the sweet greens, I for sure would've given 5 stars as opposed to 4.
I also wasn't crazy about paying $7 for two biscuits
Yes, they were pretty big size and very good but it would have been nice if they came with the meal...but that's just my personal opinion. 😉
Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely go back. 😊
