Apres ski dinner atThe Hideaway Grill, and its still as excellent as ever!
Funny story, but we tried to get into the Texas Roadhouse first tonight, but faced with an hour and a half wait, we decided to upscale a bit and the the kids to the Hideaway. Good choice. But anyhow, the owner stopped and asked if we had come from the Texas Roadhouse. Apparently a couple from Toronto heard us leaving, and followed us here, so they said that they overheard the recommendation and they too were super happy with their dinners.
Surf and Turf, Chicken Milanese, Strip Steak Sandwich with a Gorgonzola and sausage stuffed pepper, Famous BBQ ribs, French Onion, seafood bisque, chocolate and vanilla mousse in a chocolate heart cup, banana cream pie, tuxedo cake, coconut cream pie.
Definitely one of my favorite places, and haven't been here in too long.
They have some great Valentines specials too, if you haven't made plans yet. I'm thinking of coming back myself.
Also have a great lunch menu and bar foods too.
The salad on top of the Chicken Milanese was some greens, and notably some arugula, tomatoes onions, fresh mozzarella and shaved parmesan in balsamic vinaigrette amd the chicken was crispy and delicious. Ribs here have been a long time favorite, and Michael loved his first lobster tail ever, and said the parnesan and garlic crusted cauliflower was the best thing that he ever ate.
The coconut cream pie is an award winner. For good reason, and the chocolate and vanilla mousse in a thick chocolate cup was delicious and decadent.
(And I snuck a takeout pie for later, too)
