I absolutely LOATHE leaving a negative review. But unfortunately time after time i was let down this evening for our 1st time for eating at Harborside. I totally wanted to love it. I have heard great things about this place. But sadly I don’t know what was the issue. 1st tings 1st. Gator bites. CHEWY AS ALL GET OUT. Gross. I had to swallow whole because I could not chew any longer. Sea Skins. I ordered. Wasn’t asked if I wanted full or half order. Didn’t know they came in a half order. We shared with another couple both of us on our anniversary date. Only 2 came for 4 of us. Cool we split them. However instead of coming with sour cream as listed on the menu it came with tarter sauce. WHO THE HECK EATS TARTER SAUCE WITH SHRIMP AND SCALLOPS. I had to ask for sour cream as if I was outlandish. They totally lacked flavor and the skins were extremely burnt. Sea scallops and shrimp combination. $30. Let me rephrase that THIRTY DOLLARS for 3 shrimp and 4 scallops. I wish I had a picture of the menu to show that this dish was supposed to come with spinach. When I asked where the spinach was I was told it was the “garnish” when has SPINACH EVER BEEN A GARNISH? When we asked for fresh veggies as the side we were told that the fresh “veggies “ was only broccoli. Maybe im old school but assuming veggies means more than one. Maybe the description as seasonal vegetable with no s might explain that its not assortment. I sincerely despise red lobster but for the price I paid I at least could have enjoyed the biscuits and Caesar salad with them. Probably could have had a cocktail and a lobster tail too. On a positive note the young lady who brought our food was off the chain good. If I could give her 5 stars I would. Only picture that was taken was of the portion size of the “shrimp and scallops” combo PLEASE NOTE THAT THE 2nd pic UPLOADED IS THE $32 FLOUNDER FISH FROM SEASONS 52 WITH Broccolini THAT WAS SO MUCH FOOD I COULD NOT FINISH IT.
