Visited Williamsburg on a hot summer day, came across this restaurant which might have missed since the signage was not very prominent, but that seems to be the case for some Japanese restaurants, a hole in the wall with great food. Walking inside, it is bigger than I expected, with a backyard hosting couple of tents. We chose to sit inside on of the tents in the backyard, the weather was cooperating, not very hot with gentle breeze throughout the visit. Fried chicken (Karaage) was very juicy and tender, the spicy bean paste was an excellent companion to the chicken. The udon noodles was very chewy, which I love. The dipping broth was flavorful but not overwhelming, very nice to eat on a hot summer day. The price can be a bit on the expensive side, but that’s the case for most authentic Japanese restaurants. Overall recommend this place and would come again.
