Read MoreThe other day I had a dental appointment and I didn’t have time to eat before I went. So, by the time I was finished, I was starving. I was in an area of town that I didn’t know that well. I wasn’t sure where to grab a quick bite to eat. I got on my phone and started looking. After reading several five star reviews that all posted how great the food was and, how nice the owner of the business was, I thought it might go to the Gyro Corner. Still not completely convinced I read on until I read a review that bragged what a great person the owner was and what a beautiful soul he had. I figured what the heck it looks like it’s close by, sounds like a great business, I’m gonna check it out.
It was easy to find it is actually just a food truck that was parked at a convenient gas station. None of the area is the best part of town and there was some guy working on his truck right in front of the food truck, but that didn’t really matter. I still felt safe. Upon stepping up to the window to order my meal, I asked for a chicken Gyro. He asked me if I wanted fries with it. Well, of course I like french fries but, I don’t really eat them often. I probably would only get through about four or five before feeling like I should finish my gyro instead. I try to eat healthy and, I told him all of this. So I ordered just the gyro. I waited about 10 minutes. It was finished and, I was wondering how in the world I was going to eat this in the car. I knew it wouldn’t be easy to not make a mess but, I was starving so I kind of didn’t care. I opened the bag. I opened the container and to my surprise there was a small handful of french fries which I hadn’t paid for. They were delicious and, they were easy to eat in the car without making a mess which meant I saved my gyro for after I was out of my car. Thank you for the fries. They were different and they were great! What a great guy and the food was amazing. I would happily go there again if I’m in the area. Thank you so much. I highly recommend you try this place and I suggest you get the fries. You wont be disappointed .
