Was in town for business, as I frequently am, and decided to catch a hockey game. It was my first trip to the downtown area prior to a game, and wandered into Grand 7. We met a table of people who were regulars, and had a nice visit with them. Some people in there decidedly didn't like that we were from out of town and representing the rival team, but don't believe they were regulars. The table we joined was great, and turned out that the owner was one of the folks. He provided a few free drink tokens, which was very gracious. All in all, a cool little corner pub. I will definitely wander back down that way this summer when things are perhaps a bit less crowded so that I can enjoy the ambiance a little easier without the wall-to-wall crowd. Prost!
