I am not one to leave bad reviews for restaurants, but this first dining experience at Escondido was truly upsetting. We placed on order on the website, with ASAP pick up. When we went to the location, it was clear it was a ghost kitchen running 3 different restaurants. Upon arrival, we were not greeted by the man working. After waiting for him to acknowledge us, I said we had a pick-up order for "Lauren." He did not acknowledge what I said. Then he pointed at the stapled paper menu. I then repeated myself kindly and he came over the register...visibly annoyed. I explained we had placed an online order, then he snarkily told us to look at the menu again. I pulled up my online order and TXT confirmation and he just kind of dismissed it. I told him what we ordered...he had not made the food. He then found the printed-out ticket order in the kitchen. He did not apologize, just said to come back. We waited another 20 minutes. When we got our order he did not apologize or acknowledge the bad service. Once we got home, our order was wrong. We paid additional for Carne Asada...we were given chicken. The food looked tossed in, and we were missing the rice and beans. Food was not good quality and we felt ripped off. Truly upset by this customer service experience.
