We thought we would try this 'family owned' restaurant for a nice Sunday dinner. Wrong! ...We ordered tea, and then the kitchen filled the Door Dash orders while we waited 40 minutes.🤨 We should have left but the waitress was very nice.
I ordered the Salmon, baked potato, and green beans. The tiny salmon slice was dry, the potato over cooked, and the beans were a cold, soggy mess.
He ordered the brisket sandwich, which was so tough and gristley it could not be cut, and this was served with burned onion rings. This was sent back and replaced with a roast beef sandwich, made of old dry, rough beef hunks. Again, could not be cut with his sharp pocket knife and was sent back too.
I ate some of the fish and potato, he only ate a few onion rings. Unfortunately, the best part was the tea.
The waitress was very apologetic, noting the cook was upset and off his game. She tried to have his sandwich credited, but the manager just gave a partial credit.
*This horrible experience cost $35 and left hungry.☹️
