Food: Ordered two full racks of ribs, a bag of chips, beans, cole slaw, and Brunswick stew. Firstly the ribs were good and we could have simply had the end of day "older" ribs. I bet they probably make them or smoke them in the morning. I do not think they were much different than something I could get at Chilli's or something. I personally like the ribs at Chilli's more, they have more meat and the chiptole sauce is good. I much prefer the ribs at Buckhorn Grill, I think that place is great (although not in ATL).The bag of chips was a waste of time, I was expecting fries or homemade chips; nope, just a bag of lays (a small one at that). I personally am not a fan of regular lays chips or the bread that is offered at Texas style bbq places. This place had both. The beans were good and did have a hint of the rum, the Brunswick stew was not that great. The other members of my party enjoyed the slaw, I am not a fan of slaw so I will not be commenting on that. They did tell me that they did not like it too much however.Ambience:I did not like how dark this restaurant was. I went here at around 8-9pm and could barley see the food in front of me. I am a very clean person, I do not like how I could not see if things were dirty. The main issue is I couldn't tell if there were chips in the table or that was bbq sauce. I do not like the lighting, I would come for lunch if I came back. There was also a stage, not my cup of tea, but nobody was performing. Nobody was in the restaurant except for us, it was a Saturday night about an hour before closing. I not sure if this place is normally busy around this time.Service:If this place was given a review purely on service it would be a 5/5 star. I was definitely given southern hospitality, the issue was not the service. The issue was with the food. From going inside and eating our meal the gentleman working this place looked out for our family. We had a baby with us and he made sure we had room for our stroller and helped us.Bathroom:The main issue with the bath is that it smelled of urine. Despite the individual that was walking around cleaning and making sure the guests were taken care of, the bathroom did not smell the best. It didn't look dirty but it also wasn't the easiest for me to have my eyes adjust from a dark room to lit one inside this bathroom. They are imo too close to the tables as well inside the restaurant. Conclusion:Great service, food was mediocre, sides were not the best. I would not come back just because I want to go to places that have better food. I was on vacation, I would not recommend this place and would keep looking for a great BBQ place in Atlanta next time I come back.Parking: Plenty of room to get my stroller out, but were were also the only ones in the lot, I could see if it got busy being difficult to get the stroller/car seat out.Kid-friendliness: Yes, there was room for my stroller.
