Wonderful experience for our 6th Wedding Anniversary. For the experience, absolutely worth it every time. Service was absolutely wonderful, could not ask for better.
This is a ~2 hour experience so make sure you plan for that, we did not know how long it would be but we were not rushed or anything like that. The timing of everything made the experience all that much better. Just don't come here expecting to be in an out in an hour, this is truly an amazing experience.
The food was excellent, but In my opinion none of it was top tier. Our favorite thing was the creme brulee pumpkin desert. I also had the chocolate torte, which for a chocolate lover is awesome and very rich. The Georgia on my plate appetizer was awesome for the assortment and for two people a good amount of each item in a course based setting. If I could have just eaten this 3 times along with the desert I would have. My wife had the best cocktail she has ever had with the apple cider ginger beer. I had cab-sauv, wine by the glass. The "Good Measure" (The name of the winery not the wine) at $12 was better than the "Martis" at $20. Smoother, less astringent. I would buy this wine by the cask if I could. Also, if someone from the restaurant reads this, it's Horse Heaven Hills (H3) not "House Heaven Hills" as on your menu.
Please note that this is a very nit picky critique because of the price level and fine dining quality. The prosciutto wrapped pear would be better if they had baked the pear with the prosciutto wrapping it to crisp the prosciutto and still have the tender pear. We had the sirloin of beef as the main entree. The mushrooms were the best thing on the plate. Both sauces that come with the meal were great, and if not for the sauce the mashed potatoes wouldn't be good. We opted for the shrimp add-on, large shrimp well cooked, Outback level in terms of how good. I am personally a Rib-eye or strip steak fan, but the other options weren't as good if the steak was done well and nothing could tell you more about a restaurant than how well a steak is done. I personally do not like how the steak was cut and the knife provided to cut the steak was not capable of fixing it. This steak cut desperately needs thin width cuts in half centimeter increments but this was full centimeter and too thick. Just too much chew. Although I said "chef's choice" on the cook and it was the perfect medium rare, it might as well have been well done due to the way it was cut. My wife literally couldn't eat hers, we took it home and fixed it. Genuinely, it was better as a well done steak with eggs.
That being said, it was an absolutely wonderful experience, with all aspects factored in I would rate it 4.5. Everything but the food is top tier. I may come back later in life to give them another shot at the food.
