I’ve never had a more horrible experience in my life than I did last night at the Taco Villa location on 82nd and Indiana. On 5/6/25 at 9:35 PM, the manager on duty was the most rude and unprofessional individual I have ever encountered. The customer service was unacceptable, and the quality of the food was equally terrible.
I spent nearly $40–$50 and received food that I wouldn’t even feed to my dog. The burrito was the size of a cheese roll-up from Taco Bell—cold, hard, and barely filled. The entire order was wrong, the food was inedible, and to make matters worse, I wasn’t even given a receipt.
To add insult to injury, your system claimed my card was declined when in fact the money was taken from my account. I showed the manager a valid transaction ID, but she dismissed me, saying, “I don’t know what to tell you.” I explained it was all the money I had at the time, and still, she showed no compassion or effort to look into the issue. Luckily, the funds returned immediately and I was able to pay again—but that’s beside the point. It was about the principle and the complete lack of customer care.
I am a loyal customer and spend a significant amount at your restaurants, but after last night, I’m seriously reconsidering that. In today’s economy, $40–$50 is not an amount to take lightly. The entire experience—from the food to the service—was a complete disappointment.
