Stopped in for a shot and a beer, and I might have considered staying longer if the bartender was friendlier and the guest DJ wasn't pushing his speakers to the verge of destruction.They were snap, crackle, AND popping. But not in the good way. If ever there was a reason to "Turn down for what", maybe that could be one.
And for the record I'm not saying I wanted her to be flirty or even chatty, just... Maybe not so short and rude towards me... I mean a smile (even a forced fake one) goes a long way. I'm a bartender myself and know the industry can be a pain sometimes. But rather than criticizing me for the inconvenience of pouring pickle juice in a shot glass, maybe notice my beer sitting empty for 5 minutes. (Unless I was in time-out... In which case, well played.)
