Absolutely hate writing things like this but I have no option. I am a frequent flyer with Dominos. I made the mistake of ordering on a busy night. Understanding I ordered delivery on a busy night, after an hour an 30 minutes, I decided to go in and check. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the manager was on the phone. I was alone. Another worker came to the counter, never acknowledged me and answered the phone. She proceeded to walk back without acknowledging me. As a different patron came in, the same worker walked up and immediately asked how she could help him. This would not have been an issue had the employee not walked up, looked at me and ignored me and then proceeded to help the other patron. No hello, no how can I help you, no acknowledgement other than staring. Once I raised my concern about it, she claims she did not know and proceeded to tell me my food wasn’t in the oven yet. She then had an attitude as I asked for the Manager. The Manager who was standing at the front on the phone instead of acknowledging my concern, defended the employee and said they were busy.
Fast food is busy, I understand. Fast food can be challenging, I understand. Simply providing simple customer service, is easy. I happen to be an African American man and the person that the worker acknowledged, was not. Not saying that was the issue but certainly the perception. The disregard for not acknowledging me was so bad that the OTHER patron apologized. Absolutely uncalled for Dominos. I won’t be returning to this Dominos and I do not encourage others to do so either, especially if you are part of a minority community.
