Back in the 90s and early 2000s, Utah had a law that required drinkers to have a "membership" before they could patronize bars. While that law is now a thing of the past, Dar's still survives on this business model. Don't let that stop you from coming in, though; they welcome newcomers with open arms and allow you to try the place out a few times before you choose whether or not to buy a membership. The membership fee is small and they provide discounted (sometimes free) meals to members on certain days, so they definitely take care of their people. Dar's is an urban bar with a small town feel and plenty of old honky tonk country music on the jukebox. Speaking of the jukebox, it's probably the oldest one in Ogden! Come on down and see for yourself! Maybe I'll see you there!
