Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano in Richmond, Texas, delivered an absolutely unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in at 9:22 PM—just shy of closing—the warmth of the atmosphere and the professionalism of our host, Abel, set the tone for an exceptional evening. Abel’s knowledge of the wine and meal menus was nothing short of impressive, and his eloquent pronunciation of various pastas and wines had me genuinely questioning whether he was of Italian descent or American. His attention to detail and top-tier service made us feel welcome, never rushed, despite the late hour. The food itself was a masterpiece—flavors that were rich, authentic, and beautifully crafted.
I very rarely order dessert, but Abel recommended the cheesecake, and when I tell you the only thing left were the sparklers and the plate itself—I mean it! It was that good. And as for the soup he suggested, I don’t even remember the name, but it had mussels in it with cheese. Now, I do not like clams, mussels, or whatever else was in that soup, but somehow, it was so good that I finished the entire bowl. That alone speaks volumes.
I’ve been going to Carrabba’s for years, but after this experience, Da Vinci’s has won me over. I’ll definitely be coming back!
