I placed a phone order of 1 tri tip sandwich a side of macaroni and fries. At the end of the call I reconfirmed my order. I do not know if the young kid understood I was reconfirming it but when I showed up to pick up my food I gave him my card and he charged it. I looked into the bag and noticed 2 sides (1 medium, 1 small) I asked about it he said he thought I wanted two. Instead of arguing I said no I only wanted 1 but since you put it in the order how about changing it to 1 macaroni and 1 potato salad . The kid said ok. AGAIN I was going to let the mishap of an additional item slide. When I went to sign the receipt I noticed the total of 27.42!!!!!!!!!! I asked why my total was so high? He proceeded to tell me I ordered 1 tri-tip 2 sides (1 medium 1 small) 1 chicken Sandwich. I told him I didn't order a chicken sandwich. He tried to tell me I did. We went around for little but. He then said "I'll give you a tri tip sandwich" I said I don't want a 2nd sandwich I only wanted one. The kid just stared at me. I was so frustrated cuz I'm not one to complain nor ask for my money back, I just left. I went home and sat in it for a few minutes cuz I was so frustrated. (My fault for just handing over my card without checking the bill) so I called. It was 5 mins after the closed and I got their voicemail. I left a message saying I'd be back in the morning. I showed up right before opening. The owner wasn't in. Employee Told me to come back at 3pm. Called around 3:30 to speak to the owner. Owner got on phone and said I needed to provide a receipt. The kid never gave me one. Then owner proceeded to say he remembered me and I ordered all that food. Told him he didn't take the phone food order so how does he know??? I told him I was going to drive down and give him back the chicken sandwich which I didn't eat and the side . I told him even though the tri tip sandwich was a lot of fat and I didn't eat it I would be willing to pay for that and my side and fries but I felt I should be given the money back for the chicken sandwich I told the owner I'll be down to give him the sandwich to prove I didn't eat it and the tri tip but all I want is the money for the chicken the owner hung up on me. I proceeded to go down there and went to the store next door which I do a lot of business with. (The worker there was the one originally who told me to go talk to the owner and I should fight for my money .) The store next door went to go talk to the owner and the owner shooed him away and told him I do this all the time??????? The owner hasn't even seen my face yet, so at this point I am now doing my first bad review for any business and will be disputing my card charge for the first time. Ps the tri tip was mostly fatty and the bread was soggy. I never ate the chicken Sandwich and now that I couldn't show him how I wasn't trying to get a free meal I threw it away but either way it didn't look good. Horrible customer service and if a customer says they didn't order certain food you should not make them pay for it!!!!!
