Great deli. Large selection of deli classics NY style. With restaurant, deli bar, and bakery sections were more than I expected. They even have a gift shop. If you are ever in la mesa it's a must do. Return factor 100%++

05/09/25… We picked D.Z. Akin’s for my birthday and my grand son’s birthday dinner & cake celebration. Large menu… fabulous and different! Everyone loved their food… and the German Chocolate Cake was over the top good!

We had a great meal. Kiki was our server. I had the Ruben with Pastrami with a side of macaroni salad. My Aunt had the barley soup with Pastrami sandwich. Recommend both meals to others.
