So much so that, when deciding where to eat for their 50th anniversary, my parents chose to eat here. As soon as they told us where they wanted to go, I called the restaurant to ask what could be done to make the night special for them. They told us what they usually did but the restaurant was very busy & they asked us to check back in the day of the reservation. We bought some decorations (2 glittery “5” and “0” tabletop numbers, balloons, a gold table runner, & a “50 years” cake topper) and brought them over to the restaurant. Anya and Amanda were there to greet us and were very accommodating and professional. They directed us to Bree, who collected our decorations and stored them for us until we returned. Not only did they store the decorations for us at the restaurant, but they also played along with us as we pretended we hadn’t just set the decorations up 2 minutes before my parents arrived. When we arrived at the table, our server, Justin, introduced himself and immediately wished my parents a happy anniversary. He was very attentive, courteous, kind, engaging, and hospitable. He truly made the evening even more special by surpassing all expectations and taking the time to connect with us. The restaurant also gifted my parents a bread pudding (pictured here), which they described as “small” but was the perfect size for my parents to share. It was plated beautifully and included a “happy anniversary” message and the cake topper we had provided!This was definitely a special way to celebrate my parents and it wouldn’t have been possible without Anya, Amanda, Bree, and Justin. We love this restaurant and we are especially grateful to these four professionals who went out of their way to provide my parents with a perfect 50th anniversary celebration. Thank you so much!
