If you are looking for a lot of food for not a lot of money, get a plate. The fact that you can get sides that are meals in other places means that for about $8 or $9 you could get yourself a BBQ sandwich and fries and a corn dog for a younger child who won't eat a full meal anyway.
I was able to get enough food for 3 adults to have a decent meal for $25.
Compared to the bigger chains, it is no contest. The food is better, the service is solid, and it is still possible to get a decent meal for a family "treat" without breaking the bank.
I hope Cookout never changes. Value matters.
